All of our mentors have transitioned from one career into their “what will I do next”, and can empathise with the feelings of loneliness, uncertainty and potential loss of identity that both of these things bring.
Transitions come in various forms; a newly promoted role, a move from one department to another, joining a new business or returning to work after a long break, to name a few.
Each transition comes with a number of challenges; new colleagues/peers, stakeholders, company politics and culture, networking, proactive upskilling, who are you in this new role? The list is rather extensive.
Most people in transition will have the initial feeling of excitement and enthusiasm, shortly followed by moments of I’m not sure I can do this.’ Those that succeed tend to be honest, reflect and review themselves regularly, are resilient and don’t hide away from asking for help.
Our qualified executive coaches all bring warmth and care that simply works.
We aim to provide peer mentors, who can help with life coaching as well as transition mentoring.
We believe that a good mentor is someone that wants the best for you and will support you in achieving your chosen outcomes.
We believe that the most effective coaching and mentoring comes from a strong relationship between our clients, coaches mentors and mentees.
If you want to build a coaching culture in your organisation and have internal coaches trained, our Director, Paul, is also a coach trainer.
Our transition mentoring is as flexible as you need it to be and a bespoke program is always the preferred solution.
However, in what can be a confusing and isolating time, we understand that a framework can be very valuable.
If this seems like something you might like then our recommended transition mentoring framework would look something like this:
An initial 5 sessions of up to 2 hours, covering:
- Identifying the authentic you, using our Talent.
- Scan diagnostic.
- Identifying your purpose.
- Values elicitation.
- Effective networking and personal branding.
- Follow up and exploration of issues raised (if required).
“A FANTASTIC RESULT PROFESSIONALLY DELIVERED”
“As we moved through the process of merging two of our business it became apparent there were significant inter-personal issues with members of the Executive team which were adversely impacting the merger process. I engaged Paul to help tackle the problems we were having with the team. Paul and I initially worked on a brief together to scope and bound the problems and issues. Based on his vast experience and knowledge Paul was able to take the brief and following one-on-one interviews and assessment he was able develop an approach and process for us. Paul then designed and delivered a series of facilitated workshops establishing goals, targets, key behaviours and a road map for the team. Following the intervention the merger process is back on track and the Executive team are aligned, focussed and working as a single team. A fantastic result professionally delivered.”

“HE HAS TAKEN OUR PROCESSES BEYOND THE NEXT LEVEL.”
“The work Paul has produced for us is to a standard that we have never seen here and sets the bar for any, and all, future work across the region. He has taken our processes beyond the next level. The beauty of it is that it’s true complexity is hidden and so everyone understands it.”

“HE HAS HELPED ME FOCUS ON MY TRUE GOALS.”
“Paul is a fantastic coach who has helped me to evaluate and understand where I want to be by using skillful and thought provoking techniques. In challenging times, he has helped me focus on my true goals and supported me to achieve them. He operates with great integrity and professionalism at all times whilst also offering friendly advice and direction. Paul has encouraged me to take ownership of my future and to make realistic short term and long term goals in order to be a success. He has taught me not to focus on what I “should” be doing or what others think is successful, but rather what is important to me and what aligns with my values. I look forward to continuing to work with Paul and to further improve my development.”
