A former Army Commando and Lieutenant Colonel, Paul has a led elite teams in some of the most challenging environments imaginable. He left his 20-year career with the forces, as the British Army’s Head of Training Development, to share his expertise and experiences with business.

Paul’s trademark calm approach, coupled with a laser-like focus on achieving strategic and personal outcomes, effectively ensures employers and their employees reach what he calls ‘the desired end-state’. Paul has a wealth of academic and vocational credentials which see him qualified as; a Mental Health First Aid Instructor; a coach, and; a mentor.

Paul brings 20 years’ experience of leading incredibly high performing teams in some of the most challenging environments imaginable. As an Army Lieutenant Colonel Paul commanded soldiers and elite units on five of the World’s seven continents and so knows how to stay
calm when the pressure is on.

He chose to end his military career on a high as the British Army’s Head of Training Development Capability. Controlling a budget of £196M and functional command of over 400 training development specialists around the world. Here, he was the Army lead for writing Defence Training Development Policy and commanded UK training operations whilst deployed in Saudi Arabia and Ukraine. His work whilst serving and since leaving in the Systems Approach to Training has made him a world-leading expert in the field.

Paul has successfully transitioned into business and leadership mentoring.
